Who I Am
I work as a dance maker, filmmaker, researcher and associate lecturer (MA & BA in Dance at Bath Spa University). My work centres around the relationship between synaesthesia, embodiment and dance. My art-making, teaching and practice-led research is informed by a somatic approach to movement.
What I Do
I explore the relationship between synaesthesia, embodiment and dance in academic research as well as in cross-disciplinary and digital performances, screendance films and audio-visual installations. I hold multi-art form community workshops and discussions where people of diverse backgrounds meet and get to know one another in a vibrant artistic, physical and verbal exchange. These projects aim to promote diversity as an enriching and beautiful aspect of society by the example of synaesthesia.
