Who I Am
I am a freelance dancer, teacher and choreographer, specialising in ballet and contemporary dance. I originally trained at Laban and gained a BA (hons) in Dance Theatre and went on to study for an MA in Dance Performance and joined Mapdance company for their UK tour. I co-founded Replica Dance Company; a performance and education company and toured the South of England performing our own work and delivering educational workshops. In the past I have worked with Shobana Jeyasighn, Colin Poole, Keria Martin, Gregory Maqoma, Matthias Sperling, Liz Richards and many more.
What I Do
I currently lecture at Bath Spa University on the Dance undergraduate and masters courses and specialise in technique and performance. Additionally I teach adult ballet and contemporary courses at the ICIA at Bath University and in the Bath and Frome areas. I am often commissioned to choreograph pieces of choreography for companies and in the past I have directed Hampshire Youth Dance Company and 2BU, based at Pavilion Dance South West. In the past I have created dance films, created dance for operas and created dance for festivals and site specific events.
