Co-LAB at The Edge
NEW TECHNOLOGIES INFORMING THE FUTURE OF MOVEMENT
A fascinating afternoon of performance, talks and demonstrations, exploring pioneering technology that interfaces with movement in new and exciting ways. Hosted here at one of the country’s top science Universities and held in our state-of-the-art galleries and studios, coLAB offers opportunities to discover and discuss ways in which artists and scientists are collaborating to create new experiences for dance audiences.
Join us for what promises to be a unique opportunity to engage through a series of interactive installations, workshops, talks and high quality performances alongside early stages of research.
We’re pleased to announce that Lisa May Thomas, Jean Abreu, CAMERA, Julia Thorneycroft and Nic Sandiland will be presenting their work at coLAB. We also have special guests on our artists discussion panels such as Alexander Whitley, Dr. Hugh Mortimer, and Adrienne Hart.
Full programme of artists, companies and researchers will be available soon.
Join us in rounding off an exciting day with an evening performance from Neon Dance, as they conclude coLAB with the performance of EMPATHY at 7pm. Tickets are available at a discounted rate with the purchase of a coLAB day ticket – an evening not to miss!
